Well, god, thanks for the effort you've put forth to this depraved and most unnecessary endeavor. I'm glad the new software unifies the forum and .com logins, much easier this way for us.
Certainly, we all are grateful for the cost you absorb to keep us up to our necks in booty shakes and tanlines.

Well, we'll see how Drupal here treats a MySQL server, but there was no way we could have absorbed more users on the old software. Every page made literally hundreds of db queries, so I really couldn't even try to bring in more people.
Anyway, I'm sure we'll lose some, but I'd rather have done this now than later. BTW if you want your original username back I can just give it whatever pass you gave your new one. They are scrambled but I can copy one to the other.
Old ID vs New
So, you can apply the pwd from my new Id to the old one, and it should work here? Yeah, that'd be kewl. Let me know if / when you do this.
If I just waited a day or 2, it would all be straightened out, but I couldn't get to my email today. That's the cost of using a 'free' service.

I notice there's a lot of things missing that were in the old version. Will they be restored? This design is much sleeker, but it doesn't feel as functional as the last one. I can give more specific feedback, if you need it. Anyway, nice work. :)
You're Right
I agree on the missing things, and they will be restored--
The main things off the top would be photos for the 'New Videos' and also a way to browse them. The search isn't activated yet either.
However, with this software I actually have some hope of being able to maintain it and upgrade it down the line potentially, Pligg was a disaster to work with. And the database load it presented almost got my hosting cancelled, with only about 600 visitors a day. That's just unholy useless.
The separate login issue was driving me insane just as a pet-peeve thing, too.
But for anyone, feel free to mention what sucks currently and I will work on it. It'll probably take us another week to get things back up to speed, but then we might actually be able to add users without melting down.

Funny thing about spamm
I've met and worked with MANY people from around the world (Earth, that is) and most of them, despite their accents, speak and write nearly perfect English grammar. It's amazing that this spam, and the other trash that flows into my email, are practically jibberish, like random words strung together from a 50 year old middle school dictionary. (But without the spelling accuracy!) Do people actually RESPOND to this crap?
